Prep + Prime lip helps condition the lips, while also enhancing the appearance and longevity of the lip products applied on top of it. It is completely transparent so it does not affect the color of any lip products you apply. All you have to do is apply a thin layer on your lips and then apply your lip products on top. You will notice how smooth your lips become and your lip pencil and lipstick glide on a lot smoother and with less effort. At first, I was skeptical about this product, however, it really works! It helps your lip products stay on longer and prevents it from feathering or from getting into the lines on your lip. 

I always fill in my entire lips with a lip pencil when using bright or dark colors. Most lip pencils are dry, so they would get into my lines and it wouldn't apply very smoothly. However, when I apply this primer first it makes it so much easier and I get a smooth and even application. Sometimes I use lip pencil as it were a lipstick because I like the color, but it ends up looking dry after a few hours so, I apply a bit of the primer over and it looks like I just applied my lip color. 

I also find that the primer is  good to apply over your lipstick before retouching it, it goes on a lot smoother because sometimes some lipsticks don't look very nice after applying a few layers of it. 

I love this lip primer and have been using it every day since I've bought it, will definitely continue using it.

Happy Birthday to Me! Rainbow Doticure!

It's my birthday! Here is my festive birthday mani!

 

Kind of looks like gumballs!

The base is two coats of OPI Alpine Snow, the dots are Zoya Sooki, Wednesday, Monica, Kristen and Arizona,  Sally Hansen Brisk Blue and Green with Envy and OPI Pink Friday. I just used my trusty dotting tools to make the dots. I also used a coat of Seche Vite on top... and no streaking!

What do you guys think? I really like it!

Fake Tattoos Nail Tattoos Review! And Tuxedo Nails!

I was sent these nail tattoos from Fake Tattoos and this was my first successful attempt with them.

  These are the nail tattoos, you apply it just like a normal fake tattoos that we all used as kids. Cut out the tattoo, take off the plastic, place on nail and soak with water until the paper comes off.

There are directions behind each sheet and they also say to make sure your nails are dry and clean so the tattoo will adhere. I found them simple to use, everyone already knows how to use this kind of thing. It's great for nail art if you aren't as skilled with a brush. 

 

It's a black tie affair! I used two coats of OPI Alpine Snow as the base then use Wet n' Wild Black Creme for the details. The mustache is the nail tattoo.

You can see that there are a few small cracks in the tattoo, sometimes it happened and sometimes it didn't. I think it happened because the paper moved before the tattoo was fully set on the nail. So, you can't try to move it around when you place it, once you stick it, that's it. The good this is... if you place it in the wrong spot, they are very easy to remove, they come off with nail polish remover.

I really like these though, they 're simple to use and a great way to add something special to a manicure. I'll definitely be doing some more nail art with these.
